Seagate is looking to integrate AI technologies into their Wafer Processing equipment for manufacturing to enhance performance, maximize uptime, throughput, and yield, while minimizing costs, rework, and scrap.
Requirements
- Proficient in computer programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, with a focus on AI and machine learning applications.
- Hands-on experience with real robots
- Prior research or project work in autonomous navigation or reinforcement learning
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for development and deployment of Wafer Processing equipment for manufacturing, with a focus on integrating AI technologies to enhance performance
- Develop AI analytical tools to evaluate equipment performance and reliability to facilitate decision making
- Analyzing historical data on tool parameters and maintenance records and integrating AI for predictive maintenance
- Establish AI-driven programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations, leveraging AI tools.
- Explore opportunities of using AI optimization to ensure the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs.
