Responsibilities
- initiating and executing scientific research projects to fuel growth in computing, communication, memory, and networking
- applying advanced knowledge of hardware/software co-design principles to optimize system implementations
- collaborating with industry and academia, influencing external research, and contributing to scientific publications and patents
- architecting secure designs, conducting vulnerability assessments, and developing tools to enhance security
- exploring novel device physics and process innovations to advance Intel's roadmap of future technologies
- developing strategic software applications and recommending strategic product enhancements to meet evolving customer needs

Other
- Candidate must be enrolled/pursuing a Master's degree OR Ph.D degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related STEM field with 3+ months of education or industry experience
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
- Must be available to start work during the specified time frame (Spring 2026 and Summer 2026)
- Must be willing to work on-site
