Responsibilities

  • initiating and executing scientific research projects to fuel growth in computing, communication, memory, and networking
  • applying advanced knowledge of hardware/software co-design principles to optimize system implementations
  • collaborating with industry and academia, influencing external research, and contributing to scientific publications and patents
  • architecting secure designs, conducting vulnerability assessments, and developing tools to enhance security
  • exploring novel device physics and process innovations to advance Intel's roadmap of future technologies
  • developing strategic software applications and recommending strategic product enhancements to meet evolving customer needs
  • solving complex engineering problems

Other

  • Candidate must be enrolled/pursuing a Master's degree OR Ph.D degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related STEM field with 3+ months of education or industry experience
  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
  • Must be available to start work during the specified time frame (Spring 2026 and Summer 2026)
  • Must be willing to work on-site
  • Must be eligible for relocation benefits
