Responsibilities
- Utilizes data to construct narratives, improve processes and continuously seek answers to the most complex challenges.
- Manages, optimizes, and analyzes large, often unstructured data sets, working independently or as part of a collaborative team.
- Creates, manages, optimizes, and oversees databases, data warehouses, and data marts with Administrator functionality.
- Prepares reports and visuals from medical, pharmacy, provider, member, clinical and claims data sources using SQL, SSRS, MS Excel, Tableau, and/or others.
- Determines best method for collecting, migrating, extracting, and presenting complex data sets and information.
- Conducts research of root causes to address data questions and/or data discrepancies.
- Updates system databases and software applications as applicable.
Other
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
- Four to six years related experience and/or training
- Excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure
- Punctual, regular, and predictable attendance
