Banyan Software is looking to drive growth across existing and new enterprise accounts for its portfolio company, Hancock Software, a leading SaaS solutions provider specializing in Energy Efficiency Program Management software. The role aims to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction by engaging with complex customers in regulated industries, particularly utilities and state housing programs.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience managing full-cycle enterprise software sales, including new business, expansion, and renewals.
  • Proven success selling into regulated industries; experience selling to utility companies is highly preferred.
  • Strong project management, RFP handling, and account expansion expertise.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Identify customer challenges, quantify their impact, and align Hancock’s solutions to measurable outcomes.
  • Lead responses to complex RFPs and coordinate project deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
  • Capture and analyze customer feedback, distinguishing between signal and noise to influence product roadmap and pricing opportunities.
  • Identify revenue opportunities within implementation and project management processes.
  • Build relationships across various engagement channels, ongoing implementations, conferences, content marketing touchpoints, and partner ecosystems.

  • Understand why customers buy and how to replicate success; articulate and refine Hancock’s value proposition.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a consultative approach to selling.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and customer success.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and able to work virtually as part of a team.
