Honeywell is looking to enhance the performance and reliability of its software products for Industrial Automation applications, thereby improving customer satisfaction and driving business growth. This involves designing, developing, and implementing advanced software solutions, identifying and resolving defects, and staying updated with emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
  • 5 years of experience in ability to understand/learn legacy system software and ability to write C, C plus plus, windows, Firmware and embedded Linux code.
  • Networking stacks TCPIP, UDP protocols and Virtualization.
  • Experienced in large scale legacy system migrations and deployments.
  • Working knowledge in Virtualization, Performance characterization and automation.
  • Proven track record of Innovative mind set, Built-in Quality, excellent execution focus, and responsiveness to customers, team and management.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced software solutions for Industrial Automation applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to software development best practices.
  • Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
  • Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
  • Working knowledge in Virtualization, Performance characterization and automation.

Other

  • You will report directly to our Director of Engineering and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.
  • Help to build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying, and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 8 years of experience in Product development engineering.
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
