Quizlet is looking to design and build its next-generation analytical data and machine learning infrastructure to power AI-driven learning tools and enhance the learning experience for millions of users.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience building and maintaining large-scale data or ML platforms in production environments
  • Strong experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, and ML infrastructure (e.g., Airflow, dbt, GCP, Kubernetes, feature stores)
  • Experience contributing to best practices for reliability and efficiency in data workflows
  • Experience with cross-cloud data infrastructure or hybrid orchestration
  • Contributions to open-source data/ML tooling or frameworks
  • Demonstrated impact improving developer experience or data reliability

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain ML and data infrastructure to support large-scale model training, deployment, and monitoring
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Analytics, and Engineering teams to design data systems that meet diverse needs
  • Develop and optimize tools that improve developer efficiency and data platform usability
  • Implement scalable and resilient data ingestion and processing systems (real-time and batch)
  • Contribute to platform reliability, observability, and automation improvements
  • Participate in design and code reviews, sharing best practices and mentoring peers

  • Onsite position in San Francisco office
  • Employees are required to be in the office a minimum of three days per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and as needed by your manager or the company.
