Camgian Labs is looking to push the boundaries of innovation in space and missile defense by developing AI/ML-powered prototypes. The Senior Artificial Intelligence Engineer will lead the design and development of these prototypes, solve complex technical challenges, and translate visionary concepts into impactful technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML model validation and deployment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in algorithm development and implementation using Python or similar programming languages.
- Strong mathematical background and knowledge of AI, ML, and deep learning concepts.
- Proficiency with revision control systems (such as Git), including branching, merging, and managing code repositories in a team setting.
- Experience with AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, OpenCV).
- Familiarity with tools such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib.
- Experience deploying AI models in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and testing of scalable AI/ML software prototypes for space and missile defense using large-scale datasets.
- Conduct research and development of novel AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and techniques to advance space and missile defense capabilities.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay at the forefront of AI/ML advancements, space domain technologies, and relevant emerging R&D trends.
- Support proposal-writing activities and thought leadership opportunities.
