The company is evolving to empower product teams with both expert training and AI-powered tools, and is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to shape how their platform uses Large Language Models (LLMs) to deliver customer value by turning cutting-edge AI capabilities into practical features for their Insight Analytics platform.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering and AI/LLM development (open to less experience if pedigree is strong).
- Strong background in building and consuming APIs, working with databases, and cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Design, experiment with, and refine prompts and system instructions to maximize the effectiveness and reliability of LLMs.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop and integrate new backend features, enhancing the platform with intelligent capabilities.
- Continuously evaluate LLM outputs via internal testing and user feedback, iterating on prompts, model settings, and data pipelines.
- Design and implement evaluation frameworks, monitor key metrics, and develop automated testing pipelines to ensure consistent quality.
- Write and maintain product code (primarily TypeScript, with some Python) to implement LLM interactions, including building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and handling vector embeddings.
- A majority of your work will be in-code, shipping product.
