Requirements
- Strong technical background on neuroscience
- Solid knowledge of ML and AI fundamentals
- Understanding of structural differences between Artificial Neural Networks and Biological Neural Networks
- Ability to emulate cortical processes with CNNs
- Knowledge of fundamental psychophysical findings and models of spatiotemporal perception
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks, e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
- Solid knowledge on audio-visual signal analysis
Responsibilities
- Develop computational neuroscience models of the human perceptual system
- Explore multimodal representation in human perceptual system and the applications in deep learning models
- Develop deep learning models with perceptually relevant signal processing and metrics
Other
- PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
