Requirements
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
- Advanced programming skills in Python and C++ for implementing AI solutions.
- Experience handling large-scale, complex medical datasets (DICOM, mammography, CT, MRI preferred).
- Knowledge of AI model validation techniques, regulatory requirements (FDA 510(k)), and healthcare industry standards.
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
- Preferred: experience with explainable AI (XAI), cloud deployment (AWS, GCP), biostatistics, and healthcare workflows.
- Minimum 5 years of R&D experience in medical imaging, computer vision, or machine learning with proven AI development accomplishments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize AI and deep learning models to enhance medical imaging and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct research to explore novel AI methodologies and algorithms for medical applications, especially in cancer detection.
- Preprocess, annotate, and analyze large medical datasets to improve model accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead validation and testing efforts to ensure AI models meet regulatory standards, including FDA clearance, and maintain clinical robustness.
- Produce technical documentation, white papers, and research publications to communicate findings and support product marketing initiatives.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to knowledge sharing and team development.
- Ensure all AI development activities comply with healthcare regulations and contribute to the creation of intellectual property.
Other
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex research results to technical and non-technical audiences.
