Verizon is seeking an innovative, full-stack developer with deep expertise in generative AI and modern software development to join their Cyber AI Services (CAIS) organization and drive innovation, creativity, and impact in the world by connecting people to what brings them joy and powering and empowering how people live, work and play.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript
  • Strong experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI for building stateful, multi-agent workflows, VertexAI environment.
  • Implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) using Vector Databases (e.g., pgvector).
  • Experience integrating LLMs into production workflows, including MCP implementations and handling security aspects.
  • Familiarity with OAuth / OIDC authentication standards.
  • Backend experience with FastAPI for asynchronous REST APIs and Flask for microservices/legacy support.
  • Frontend proven ability with Plotly Dash for complex data visualization.

Responsibilities

  • Building high-concurrency APIs using FastAPI and develop front end solutions to support ML-based anomaly detections
  • Designing and deploying AI agents using LangGraph or CrewAI to automate critical Verizon Cybersecurity functions, including incident triage, reputation lookups, evidence evaluation, and report generation.
  • Architecting and maintaining robust data pipelines to support data scientists working on anomaly detection and threat hunting models.
  • Managing large-scale log ingestion and processing capabilities within GCP (utilizing Dataflow and Dataproc) and AWS containerized environments.
  • Deploying applications to containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes/GKE), manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability, and support model deployment evaluation via VertexAI and MLOps practices.
  • Implementing deep instrumentation using OpenTelemetry (OTel) for instrumenting Python applications and manual instrumentation of complex workflows (Spark, AI Agents), while creating Grafana dashboards to visualize metrics, distributed traces, and logs.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid role with a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office.
