Mastercard powers economies and empowers people in 200+ countries and territories worldwide, and the Customer Connectivity team needs a Senior Metrics and Analytics Lead to define, develop, and drive the analytics framework that powers data-informed decision-making across the organization.
Requirements
- Experience in data analytics, data science, or metrics-focused roles, preferably within the tech or a product or customer-focused environment.
- Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science.
- Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end analytics solutions, from data ingestion to visualization and insight delivery.
- Expert-level proficiency with analytics and data visualization tools such as Domo and Alteryx, including automation, ETL workflows, and dashboard development.
- Solid experience with Splunk for log and event data analysis.
- Strong background in SQL, data modeling, and data governance best practices.
Responsibilities
- Define, track, and optimize KPIs across product and engineering functions to drive performance and strategic alignment.
- Build, maintain, and scale dashboards and reporting frameworks to support decision-making across teams.
- Analyze complex datasets from diverse sources—including product usage logs, system alerts, and operational data—to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Leverage data to monitor system behavior, identify anomalies, and generate real-time operational insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and designers to define metrics that reflect customer experience and product health.
- Lead the design of measurement strategies for new product features and initiatives, including setting baselines and success criteria.
