American Express seeks an analytics professional to provide analytical insights and support for Commerce, Wallet, and Identity Products as digital commerce becomes increasingly vital in Card Members' daily lives
Requirements
- Experience with SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Able to present results of analysis to non-technical audience with experience in crafting presentations with effective data visualization.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Demonstrate creativity, curiosity, and passion for dealing with large amounts of data and converting it into valuable, actionable information.
Responsibilities
- Extract insights from data using SQL or Python in a Google Cloud environment. Provide the results in actionable and impactful formats to business partners in Product and Marketing.
- Collaborate with Product partners to develop insights to enhance their products, including customer behavior/usage studies or product diagnostic analyses which will be used to drive larger team’s decision strategy and project requirements.
- Apply experiment design approach in context of optimizing digital experiences and identifying the strategy that can deliver best on both business goals and customer experience.
