Enhancing processes across the finance organization, including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controller and Treasury teams, by leveraging automation and company data for improved financial decision making and reporting.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of SQL (e.g., Snowflake)
- Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python)
- Three (3) years of relevant experience in a data role working with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau)
- One (1) year of experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python)
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Working knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles
- Experience summarizing and presenting complex analysis to non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance and IT stakeholders to understand existing processes and how automation and company data can be utilized to support financial decision making and reporting needs
- Gather and document requirements for enhancements that need to be prioritized
- Build efficient SQL queries, Python scripts and Tableau dashboards to address business needs
- Write comprehensive documentation for each SQL query, Python script and Tableau dashboard
- Develop SQL, Python and Tableau training workshops for Finance crewmembers
- Be comfortable presenting to large groups & expressing ideas in high visibility settings
- Be a strong advocate for a culture of process and data quality across JetBlue

- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
