Wing is looking to improve its drone delivery services by developing scalable and reliable systems, and is seeking a Senior Android Software Engineer to join its Commerce Engineering team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing and developing Android applications
- Experience developing in Java and/or Kotlin
- Experience with APIs, tools and customer facing applications
- Experience with privacy and security conscious ecosystem
- Experience with collaborative team environments
Responsibilities
- Set solution and/or architectural strategy for Android applications
- Design and build a performant Android application in collaboration with backend engineers and other web/mobile engineers
- Investigate and build software in areas with limited expertise
- Collaborate cross functionally with business partners, product managers, and program managers to design, implement and quickly launch new features
- Mitigate, root cause and resolve urgent, time sensitive issues in both familiar and unfamiliar software
- Contribute to a team culture of support, engagement and quality
