The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) needs to support its critical mission needs by developing and automating software delivery pipelines and integrating Appian applications with other systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Appian development experience, preferably within BPM
- Appian Level 1 or 2 Certified.
- Experience in Agile, Java, API's, Web Services, integrations.
- Proficient with Appian BPM and complex SQL database structures.
- Experience with integrations with external systems.
- Ability to scope Appian Projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop fully automated software delivery pipelines
- Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and similarly engage in all agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, demos and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate them into Appian designs.
- Develop custom Appian solutions using Appian BPM software.
- Integrate Appian applications with other systems and databases.
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshoot Appian applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for Appian applications.

- This team values in person collaboration and offers a hybrid work location, where you're onsite in the Gaithersburg, MD office 2-3 times a week.
- For those who live outside of a 50 mile radius to the Gaithersburg MD office, we are open to you working 100% remote.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
