GDIT is looking to hire a Senior Appian Developer to design and develop mission-critical software delivery pipelines for their high-profile government clients, ensuring the end-user experience is prioritized and contributing to a safer and smarter future.
Requirements
- Appian BPM
- Appian Level 1 or 2 Certified
- Agile, Java, API's, Web Services, integrations
- Proficient with Appian BPM and complex SQL database structures
- Experience with integrations with external systems
- Ability to scope Appian Projects
Responsibilities
- Design and develop fully automated software delivery pipelines
- Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and similarly engage in all *agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives
- Assist the team in documenting and leveraging cloud and DevOps best practices during acceptance testing cycles; performs testing with thoroughness and great attention to detail
- Collaborate with team members on all project-related testing, help to develop team UI QA standards, and communicate effectively across the organization to adhere to stringent timelines
- Ensure that *QA processes and procedures for *test environments are followed and that the integrity of the various environments is not compromised
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate them into Appian designs
- Develop custom Appian solutions using Appian BPM software
Other
- 5 + years of related experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field
- Must have resided in the US for 3+ years
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
- Experience owning project backlog, schedule and ensuring project team delivers high quality work consistently and on time
