Homesteaders Life Company is looking to develop, test, and maintain custom third-party software applications and integrations to deliver innovative, scalable solutions aligned with industry best practices to support strategic goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years professional experience developing with Microsoft.NET technologies.
- 5+ years of experience with LifePRO Development, Data, and Integration required.
- 5+ years of SQL Server Database experience.
- 3+ years of CI / CD pipeline experience.
- Experience with Azure cloud, web & mobile development technologies, relational databases, COBOL, and SQL Reporting Services also desirable.
Responsibilities
- Apply Agile engineering best practices and principles.
- Responsible for the development of technical requirements and software documentation.
- Responsible for software design and architecture.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining software across varying stacks and technologies including websites, mobile applications, backend services and Windows applications.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining system integrations with 3rd party software.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining database tables and stored procedures.
- Perform code reviews and apply best practices.
Other
- Equivalent to high school graduation and a college or university degree in a software development related field OR equivalent work experience.
- Insurance industry experience is desirable.
