WSP’s Visualization and Data Intelligence (VDI) national practice is seeking a Senior Application Developer to support a variety of consulting projects of differing complexity and duration, collaborating closely with colleagues and clients within a dynamic and adaptable work environment.
Requirements
- 7-10 years custom development experience with ASP.NET/C-Sharp with a strong focus on UI/UX experience.
- Proficient in front-end frameworks (React preferred, or Vue, Angular, Blazor), HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3, and JSON.
- Proficient in front-end architecture, performance optimization, and cross-browser testing.
- Proficient in one or more database technologies (Transact-SQL with SQL Server, MySQL, etc.).
- Proficient with geospatial tools (Mapbox, Google Maps, or ArcGIS).
- Proficient in accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG 2.0), front-end build tools (Webpack, Tailwind, Vite), and SEO best practices.
- Experience with CMS platforms (Umbraco, Kentico, SiteCore, WordPress, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, launch and maintain scalable .NET web applications.
- Lead front-end development with a focus on accessibility and responsiveness.
- Drive UI/UX design execution.
- Create technical specs and contribute to core code and documentation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, bugs, and optimize performance.
- Support, enhance, and maintain legacy systems.
- Mentor team members and support business development efforts.
