Requirements
- Four (4) years of technology experience as a Mainframe Application developer
- Experience with Natural as a developer
- Experience with Mainframe databases such as ADABAS, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, IMS, or similar
- Experience working with JCL and TSO in a developer role
- Previous development experience with the MAXIS system, including coding, enhancements, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, implement solutions, and assess effectiveness
- Ability to resolve system-wide complex problems with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced professional knowledge and skills in information systems problem identification, requirements definition and determination of alternative solutions
- Analyze, design, develop (code), test, implement and support systems including, but not limited to, MAXIS and PRISM
- Provide lead work and be a subject matter expert in the analysis, design, development (coding), implementation and support of the assigned project work
- Evaluate and recommend alternative solutions to solve system level problems
- Work within a large diverse System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding amongst all parties
- Provide customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or an IT related field
- Master's degree in Information Technology or an IT related field substitutes for three (3) years of experience
- Travel is not required
- Must be located within the continental United States
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
