SMBC Americas Division is seeking a Senior Developer to join their newly formed Agile Product team within the Business Intelligence & Strategic Data department to build a robust ESG Sustainability Data Platform using Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and other modern technologies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals: entity management, data modeling, design patterns.
- Experience with C-Sharp, Azure, and SharePoint Online.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and SDLC processes.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (Developer, Functional Consultant, Solution Architect).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP a plus).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint Online.
- Build reusable components and ensure adherence to DRY principles, entity modeling, and SDLC best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate ESG requirements into technical solutions.
- Integrate with external systems and data sources, including Azure services and SQL databases.
- Support data governance, quality assurance, and interoperability with Tokyo Head Office systems.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
- Ensure regulatory readiness and compliance through robust system design.
