The University is looking to design, build, and maintain mission-critical enterprise systems, with a primary focus on Ellucian Banner Student, and integrate it with various third-party platforms and services to ensure seamless data exchange and process automation across the institution's systems.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Identity Management, SSO, and security protocols in Higher Education contexts.
- Demonstrated expertise in Ethos integrations, APIs, or data exchange between Banner and third party applications.
- Strong development skills with some or all of the following: Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, XML, HTML, Grails, and Ellucian Page Builder.
- Ability to program in at least one programming language.
- Experience with workflow automation, system monitoring, and troubleshooting complex integrations.
- Experience with Salesforce integration and Higher Education CRMs.
- Familiarity with AppWorx job scheduling and TouchNet payment systems.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes development tools to design, implement and maintain processes that involve XML, Java, Web Services, Page Builder, workflow, CSS, and various interfaces.
- Provides application support including system monitoring and processing, handling user questions and queries, investigating and solving environment issues, supporting third party integrations, providing on-call services to support mission critical systems.
- Performs business analysis to gather customer business requirements.
- Prepares and maintains functional and technical specification documents.
- Supports application upgrades, including code/object retrofits.
- Develops SQL queries as needed to validate data.
- Performs unit and system testing as needed.
