The University is looking to design, build, and maintain mission-critical enterprise systems, with a primary focus on Ellucian Banner Student, and integrate it with various third-party platforms and services to ensure seamless data exchange and process automation across the institution's systems.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Identity Management, SSO, and security protocols in Higher Education contexts.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Ethos integrations, APIs, or data exchange between Banner and third party applications.
  • Strong development skills with some or all of the following: Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, XML, HTML, Grails, and Ellucian Page Builder.
  • Ability to program in at least one programming language.
  • Experience with workflow automation, system monitoring, and troubleshooting complex integrations.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration and Higher Education CRMs.
  • Familiarity with AppWorx job scheduling and TouchNet payment systems.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes development tools to design, implement and maintain processes that involve XML, Java, Web Services, Page Builder, workflow, CSS, and various interfaces.
  • Provides application support including system monitoring and processing, handling user questions and queries, investigating and solving environment issues, supporting third party integrations, providing on-call services to support mission critical systems.
  • Performs business analysis to gather customer business requirements.
  • Prepares and maintains functional and technical specification documents.
  • Supports application upgrades, including code/object retrofits.
  • Develops SQL queries as needed to validate data.
  • Performs unit and system testing as needed.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the initiative to design sustainable, scalable solutions.
  • Ability to work in a remote/distributed team environment with cross-departmental collaboration.
