UPS is looking for a Senior Applications Developer to develop next-generation technology, specifically applications that track and move millions of packages daily, to drive business and provide the ultimate customer experience.
Requirements
- thorough knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Apache Camel and Microservices Architecture
- At least 5 years of experience with Web Services (SOAP and REST), SMTP, FTP and MQ
- Experience with, CI/CD pipeline
- familiarity with OpenShift or Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience with Agile Development, Web Services (SOAP and REST), SMTP, FTP and MQ
- Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Apache Camel and Microservices Architecture
Responsibilities
- developing the applications which track and move up to 38 million packages in a single day (4.7 billion annually)
- build innovative technologies that are customized to drive our business and provide the ultimate customer experience
- collaborate with other teams
- guide application deployments
- mentor junior team members
- participate in code reviews
