The Department of Economic Security (DES) is seeking to manage ETL processes and database systems for complete life cycle and management, facilitate accurate data reporting, maintain 24/7 system availability, and enhance system functionality to support business requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
  • SQL and understanding of dimensional data models to design a robust and secure Data modeling experience to design data warehouse
  • REST APIs
  • Informatica Cloud, Data warehousing concepts and BI architecture
  • Data Modeling / Data warehouse Designing concepts
  • Different scripting languages
  • AZURE DEVOPS
  • Five plus years of advanced Informatica design and development skills using Informatica power center and power exchange.
  • Experience in developing Informatica PowerCenter ETL mappings using Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, and Repository Manager

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Fix bugs or issues within the software.
  • Document ETL processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data integration needs and implement solutions.
  • Informatica Administration including monitoring running jobs, identifying performance bottlenecks, troubleshooting errors, and resolving issues related to data integration processes.
  • Developing, maintaining and testing all IICS workflows.
  • Conducting the testing process and resolve all defects

Other

  • This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
  • All work, including remote work, should be performed within Arizona unless an exception is properly authorized in advance.
  • Employee shall obtain and maintain a valid Level One fingerprint clearance card that meets DES requirements for a Level One card pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute 41-1969.
  • Successfully pass background and reference checks; employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the agency’s ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.
