Microsoft is looking to deliver innovative products and machine learning solutions across the company to hundreds of millions of users every month, by pushing the boundaries of large-scale deep learning models and improving experiences across Microsoft’s products and services.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience coding in C++, C-Sharp, C, Java or Python.
- 3+ years experience in applying deep learning techniques and drive end-to-end AI product development (Search, Recommendation, NLP, Document Understanding, etc).
- 3+ years of experience with common machine learning, deep learning frameworks like Pytorch/Tensorflow.
- 3+ years communicating technical details clearly across organizational boundaries.
- Experience with shipping internet scale, low latency and high throughput systems AI products.
- Proficient ability and effectiveness working end-to-end in a challenging technical problem domain (plan, design, execution, continuous release, and service operation).
- Experience with Customer/End-result/Metrics driven in design and development.
Responsibilities
- You will be proficient one or more subareas and gain expertise in a broad area of research, including applicable research techniques.
- You will review business requirements and incorporate research to meet business goals.
- You will participate in onboarding of team members and assist in developing academics to be members of multidiscipline teams.
- You will document work in progress and experimentation results and share findings to promote innovation.
- You will use your deep understanding of fairness and bias to contribute to ethics and privacy policies related to research processes and data collection.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years related experience
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
