The OneNote team is looking to transform its notebooks with AI, creating intelligent, dynamic notebooks infused with powerful AI that act as a true "second brain." The goal is to enable users to effortlessly capture ideas, intuitively understand complex information, and seamlessly take informed action.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and/or statistics.
- Expertise in implementing, training, and debugging transformer-based ML models and other related tools and technologies for building and shipping large language models (LLM) applications.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with coding in multiple languages.
- Proficiency in using ML libraries from sources such as Hugging Face.
- Published papers in reputed ML conferences and/or contributions to open-source ML projects.
- Ability to quickly ramp up on various domains within Machine Learning.
- Experience shipping high-quality products at scale.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality AI-scenarios for Copilot Notebooks.
- Adopt the latest ML technologies.
- Measure the impact of models.
- Work with product teams to design AI-powered experiences.
- Come up with evaluation techniques, datasets and metrics to measure the impact of the latest models on product scenarios.
- Collaborate with research teams to adopt the latest ML technologies into the product.
- Build and deploy Machine Learning (ML) models, create data pipelines, and manage training and test datasets.

- Microsoft Cloud Background Check:This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
