Requirements
- Current deep experience with AWS, APIs, DevSecOps, AI and ML.
- Cloud Architecture Certification (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or strong architecture experience on Cloud.
- Good understanding of security.
- Hands on experience in the last 3 years.
- Strong proven Software Engineering experience.
- Developed technology target state, roadmaps that aligned to Short- and Long-term business goals.
- Strong grasp of value creation and business capability models.
Responsibilities
- Apply broad Dev Ops and Software Architecture experience to support a growing engineering community.
- Collaborate with division architects championing the establishment of a robust enterprise DevOps and Software architecture practice.
- Help to align capabilities to Travelers architecture best practices and patterns always looking for opportunities to promote reusability and commonality.
- Help establish governance and control processes to ensure continued success building and deploying mission critical capabilities across Travelers.
- Displays strong thought leadership in pursuit of modern architecture principals and technology modernization.
- Drives continuous technology transformation to minimize technical debt.
- Defines and leads technology proof of concepts to ensure feasibility of architecture solutions
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in work experience.
- Six years of experience in enterprise, application, and/or information architecture within a line of business or enterprise area
- Provided mentorship to architects.
- Organizational and transformational experience in an agile operating model.
- Proven track record of influencing senior leadership.
