Santander is looking to enhance strategic insight and drive enterprise performance by collecting, processing, and interpreting data to generate insights and support decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI Tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge and skill in statistical analysis.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data quality.
  • Guides and evangelizes development of projects and technologies that accelerate iterative, rapid experimentation processes, including feature engineering and data sharing across analytics teams.
  • Collaborates with key technology teams and data governance to identify golden sources of data, implement standards and promote best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Extract, clean, and prepare data for analysis.
  • Presents data, results, and/or recommendations from projects or process implementations to senior leadership.
  • Create reports, dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders.
  • Perform data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Applies advanced analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of complex logistics data.
  • Guides and evangelizes development of projects and technologies that accelerate iterative, rapid experimentation processes, including feature engineering and data sharing across analytics teams.
  • Collaborates with key technology teams and data governance to identify golden sources of data, implement standards and promote best practices.

Other

  • Bachelor's Degree: in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, IT, MIS, Applied Mathematics, or other relevant field - Required.
  • Master's Degree: in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, IT, MIS, Applied Mathematics, or other relevant field - Preferred.
  • 7+ Years Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Applied Mathematics - Required.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to influence and direct peers.
  • Ability to communicate with clarity, poise, and precision.
  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
