American Express is looking to raise the bar for technical excellence, talent, strategy, and standards across Technology, and to cultivate and foster technical innovation. This role will support the delivery of strategic technology initiatives on the Generative AI Enterprise Enablement Team, helping to bring strategic platforms and projects to life.
Requirements
- Experience in Agile software development methodologies and practices such as Scrum/Kanban, iterations, user stories
- Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Rally a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and coordinating project activities across teams.
- Ensures that all project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Help prepare regular updates on project milestones, risks, and next steps.
- Schedule and document meetings to support project outcomes.
- Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and communicate updates.
- Conducts regular quality reviews and implementing necessary improvements to maintain high standards.
- Report issues or blockers to senior team members.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical subject area, or equivalent work experience, is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in project or program management work is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and be a thought leader
