BNY is seeking a Senior Associate, Full-Stack Engineer to join their Asset Servicing technology team to provide hands-on design, development, and implementation of technology systems using Java Technologies and Oracle Database.
Requirements
- Expertise in using a specific application development toolkits and proficiency of front end and backend development coding languages such as Java, HTML, NodeJS, CSS, JSON, Angular, JavaScript.
- Proficient in developing REST services.
- Must have thorough and demonstrative knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Must also have proficiency in Spring frameworks and containerization using Linux.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle databases, creating schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
- Knowledge of Gitlab repositories and deploying Java applications using Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing hands on design, development, and implementation of technology systems using Java Technologies and Oracle Database.
- Provide best practices and strategic consultation to mentor peers in the areas of development, architecture, and implementation of key business applications.
- Perform unit and integration testing of highly complex business applications.
- Consults with internal business groups to provide high-level application software development services or technical support.
- Troubleshoot to resolve incidents and problems for production applications to adhere to requirements under the identified Service Level Agreements.
- Apply security and privacy principles.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- 2-6 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
