American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) Products is seeking a Senior Associate - Product Designer to craft the future of digital experiences for their customers, aiming to create impactful experiences that deliver on business goals.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional product design experience
- Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies, research and processes
- Proficiency in Figma or similar design software (i.e. Sketch)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience using collaboration tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, Airtable, Mural, and FigJam
Responsibilities
- Ensure visually appealing and usable user interfaces by delivering artifacts such as wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity specifications
- Develop understanding and empathy for users through user-centered methodologies, external analysis, research, and data
- Present design decisions to peers and partners with minimal support from senior colleagues
- Utilize understanding of American Express design process, design systems and UX patterns
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and design leads to understand and deliver against project requirements
- Leverage design tools to efficiently deliver artifact
- Utilize data-analytics tools to make informed decisions
