To ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards, prepare and execute internal audits, review and approve internal documents, perform lab audits and workbench certifications, prepare and deliver inspection and audit reports, address process and product non-conformance, collect and report metrics, and act as a Quality point of contact for Project Leads.
Requirements
- Knowledge or Certification in IPC-A-610J and IPC-2000E
- Knowledge of Failure Reporting tools
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action
- Certified, or the ability to obtain certification to above referenced workmanship standards
- Familiarity with common measuring devices
- Working knowledge of ESD principles and practices
Responsibilities
- Identification and documentation of quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems per internal standards and J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 & 620 requirements
- Leads the preparation and execution of internal process and lab audits within established manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards
- Performs Drawing & Engineering Change Order (ECO) reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
- Reviews Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for completeness and alignment with internal requirements and apply Quality Clauses in accordance with Command Media
- Performs product inspections, tests and/or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications as required
- Performs ESD workstation measurements and certifications in conjunction with Lab Audits
- Performs surveillance/verification of assembly workmanship, equipment calibration, manufacturing process, test process; assembly-related mechanical and dimensional inspections; and other related duties, as assigned

- Working knowledge of Quality Control principles and receiving inspection requirements
- AS 9100/ISO 9001 Quality System experience
