Requirements
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and technologies such as C++, C, Java, VHDL, SQL, Qt.
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as JTAG debugging, oscilloscope, and logic analyzers.
- Familiarity with operating systems and platforms including Windows, Linux, and an understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) from academic projects.
- An academic background that includes subjects related to real-time controls, software security, robotics, and embedded systems.
Responsibilities
- Utilize your knowledge in computer science, engineering, and mathematics to create robust software solutions for targeted applications.
- Work collaboratively with experienced engineers to understand and contribute to the interface between hardware and software, ensuring systems meet operational performance requirements.
- Participate actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, hands-on hardware/software integration, and testing of embedded software for real-time control systems.
- Assist in the development of software test procedures and programs, and contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
- Engage in peer reviews, learn to identify, track, and remedy defects to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

- The salary range for this role in Massachusetts is $74,000 - $138,000.
