New York Life is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade AI-powered applications, translating complex business needs into technical solutions and creating intelligent, autonomous systems.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Django, Flask).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
- Expertise with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, and multi-agent orchestration.
- Practical experience implementing MCP standards and building interoperable AI systems.
- Experience with RAG architectures and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB).
- Knowledge of real-time AI systems and streaming inference (Kafka, Redis Streams).
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver end-to-end AI-powered applications integrating ML models, APIs, and user interfaces.
- Lead development initiatives from concept through successful production deployment.
- Build scalable, high-performance systems leveraging cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Research, evaluate, and integrate emerging AI frameworks and protocols into enterprise use cases.
- Design and implement MCP-compliant systems for model interoperability and orchestration.
- Develop autonomous agent workflows for complex multi-step tasks and decision-making.
- Implement agentic data analysis systems that autonomously discover insights.
Other
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field.
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 5+ years focused on AI/ML systems.
- 3+ years of direct experience in AI/ML application development and deployment.
- Proven track record of delivering production-grade AI systems in enterprise environments.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with experience mentoring or leading technical teams.
