Fiserv is looking to streamline server maintenance, patching, restarts, and alert resolution by architecting and implementing scalable automation solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in automation development using Python and PowerShell or Bash.
- 5+ years of server administration and infrastructure automation.
- 5+ years of experience with CI/CD practices, system integration, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Moogsoft).
- Experience in scripting languages like Chef or Puppet.
- Experience with tools such as Operations Orchestration, Server Automation, Ansible and/or Rundeck.
- Experience with patch management automation.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust automation frameworks for infrastructure and operational workflows.
- Automate server patching, restarts, and alert handling using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Enhance and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
- Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and software engineering teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and optimize automated solutions to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Stay current with emerging automation technologies and bring innovative ideas to the team.
