The business problem is to develop and automate tasks to make them repeatable and efficient across multiple environments, using Infrastructure as Code (IAC), scripting, and writing applications, in a secure environment, for the Department of Defense (DoD) systems at Booz Allen
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with Linux and Microsoft platforms
- 3+ years of experience with DevOps and cloud engineering using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in AWS and Azure
- 2+ years of experience with Golang, Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
- 2+ years of experience with system hardening or STIGs, Configuration-as-Code using Ansible, and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- 2+ years of experience with containerization or orchestration using Kubernetes or Docker and Helm charts
- Experience with networking, DNS, routing and switching, and troubleshooting
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining systems in an enterprise-scale secure environment using Linux and Microsoft platforms
- Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in AWS and Azure using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Developing CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy applications and infrastructure
- Implementing system hardening or STIGs, Configuration-as-Code using Ansible, and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Troubleshooting networking, DNS, routing and switching issues
- Developing and deploying containerized applications using Kubernetes or Docker and Helm charts
- Maintaining and operating cloud infrastructure and applications in a secure environment
Other
- TS/SCI clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology required
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of start date
- Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and deliver to project deadlines
- Master’s degree preferred
