Requirements
- 7+ years of back-end development experience with deep expertise in Javascript/Typescript
- Experience with Kotlin/Swift
- Strong knowledge of modern back-end tooling (TypeScript, ESLint, CI/CD pipelines)
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and general low-level development
- Experience with WebSockets, real-time data, compiled code languages, or healthcare-related applications (bonus)
- Proficiency in Typescript, Javascript, Node.js, Next.js, React, React Native, SQL, Redis, Redux, New Relic, Kubernetes, CSS, AWS, Cypress, Docker, Express
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, optimization and expansion of core backend services
- Drive best practices in performance, security, and scalability
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Frontend teams to deliver seamless user experiences
- Own key architectural decisions and mentor engineers
- Build out data-driven services and systems to bolster the customer experience
- Influence engineering culture and foster innovation within the team
