Mochi Health is looking to solve the business problem of providing a world-class experience for their customers, pharmacy technicians, and other team members by developing and optimizing core systems and data channels. They aim to leverage artificial intelligence to introduce innovative features and provide deeper capabilities and insights into the customer experience.
Requirements
- 7+ years of back-end development experience, with deep expertise with Javascript/Typescript, as well as some exposure to Kotlin/Swift.
- Experience leading technical initiatives and shipping scalable, high-performance systems to support web and mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of modern back-end tooling. (TypeScript, ESLint, CI/CD pipelines)
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms, and general low level development.
- Bonus: Experience with WebSockets, real-time data, compiled code languages, or healthcare-related applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, optimization and expansion of our core backend services. (Node/Express)
- Drive best practices in performance, security, and scalability as we scale rapidly over the next 6/12 months.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Frontend teams to deliver seamless, intuitive user experiences.
- Own key architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and elevating back-end excellence across the company.
- Build out data-driven services and systems to bolster the customer experience.
- Influence engineering culture, fostering innovation and technical ownership within the team.
