DroneSense, part of Versaterm, is looking to solve the problem of transforming public safety technology to improve workflows, deliver better service, and enable better outcomes for First Responders through the use of drones.
Requirements
- 5+ years of web development experience
- 3+ years of experience using .NET (C-Sharp)
- Proficiency with Entity Framework, Redis, SignalR and MySQL
- Comfortable using GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT with critical judgement
- Experience with MQTT, OpenSearch or AWS S3
- Experience integrating SSO solutions
- Experience with ArcGIS
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services and APIs using .NET (C-Sharp) that power real-time operations, data management and reporting.
- Write efficient LINQ queries and use Entity Framework thoughtfully to keep the platform fast under heavy load.
- Leverage Redis strategically to reduce database load
- Maintain and modernize backend systems, balancing shipping new features with refactoring older code, reducing technical debt, and keeping the platform performant and stable.
- Drive quality through code reviews, share feedback, and help elevate engineering standards across the team
- Be autonomous and adaptable, thriving in a changing development process, adjust to evolving priorities, and find creative ways to deliver value quickly.
- Communicate openly, share progress, surface blockers early, and work transparently in a remote-first environment.
