AppWork is looking to scale its R&D team and platform to modernize maintenance operations within the PropTech industry, aiming to create a smoother and more connected experience for property managers, maintenance teams, and residents.
Requirements
- Exceptional hands-on proficiency in at least one of the following technologies: Node.js, Python, Java or Elixir.
- Deep understanding of high-performance SQL/NoSQL database design.
- Mastery of AWS cloud platforms, architecting solutions with a broad range of AWS services.
- Experience with message queue technologies (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ, Oban) for scalable data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Dive into code, contribute to architectural design, and solve complex challenges to ensure high standards of quality, scalability, and reliability.
- Mentor and grow AppWork’s R&D team, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and technical brilliance.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, optimize engineering processes, and reduce technical load on leadership by owning key initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Product and other cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and align engineering efforts with company objectives.
