Monstro is looking to architect and scale the intelligent infrastructure behind their AI-native financial platform, transforming how financial data flows and intelligence is delivered in real-time.
Requirements
- Proven success designing and scaling distributed, cloud-native systems (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on DevOps experience—CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform (or similar).
- Strong understanding of security, authentication, and data privacy standards.
- Experience collaborating with AI, product, and data teams on technical integration.
- Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, event-driven architecture, or real-time systems.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Next.js) or mobile integration.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and integrations.
- Lead key architectural decisions on infrastructure, data flow, and cloud deployment strategy.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
- Drive observability, monitoring, and uptime standards across backend services.
- Build secure, compliant systems optimized for a fintech-grade environment.
- Implement authentication, encryption, and access control across backend components.
- Design and implement robust multi-modal document processing systems that handle heterogeneous file formats (PDFs, images, HTML, XML) with automatic schema inference, content extraction validation, and graceful degradation for malformed inputs, maintaining 99.9% pipeline uptime SLA.
