Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building robust backend or full-stack software systems.
- 3+ years experience maintaining efficient production systems at scale or maintaining production environments (e.g. Devops/SRE).
- Expertise with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
- Experience with networking, distributed systems, SQL and NoSQL databases.
Responsibilities
- Define infrastructure and standards for engineering teams across the company.
- Design, implement and deliver services and tools for running infrastructure at scale.
- Research and recommend new technologies for our shared platform.
- Develop a deep understanding of the software and architecture at Via.
- Build CI/CD automation and templates with GitLab.
- Build, maintain and operate AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot mission-critical services, automating remediation to prevent recurrences.
