Ava Labs is looking to hire a Senior Backend Engineer to join the AvaCloud team to simplify the experience of launching, managing, and growing Web3 applications on an Avalanche Subnet. This role will be integral in launching and maintaining Web3 applications by providing products and services for multi-tenant cloud-based services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of general backend development experience
- 3+ years of experience building large scale enterprise systems
- Experience with Golang strongly preferred
- Experience with Typescript/Node.js a plus
- AWS Cloud Stack (DynamoDB, KMS, SQS, Lambda, ... ) preferred
- Experience with other cloud stacks a bonus
- Crypto experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Design and build distributed, scalable and highly performant backend systems to support a new application targeted at web2 developers
- Partner with product teams for new feature development and integration including Avalanche Explorer, Core Wallets (Core Ext, [Web Wallet](https://wallet.avax.network/access)) and other blockchain applications
- Closely collaborate with the infrastructure team to build and deploy cloud applications
- Work with frontend developers to build an entirely new web application from the ground up
- Lead the team and set best practices for building and maintaining large scale distributed systems

- NYC metro candidates are required to be in office 2-3x/week, with exceptions.
