Postscript is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and scale the foundational services, APIs, and pipelines that power the Postscript product, enabling e-commerce marketers to maximize their revenue with best-in-class targeting and context-driven AI.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience writing and shipping production software in GoLang
- Hands on python experience in production or non-production settings
- Experience building and designing high-scale systems AWS with broad variety of database technologies (RDBMS, OLAP, NoSQL, etc.)
- Working knowledge of event-driven distributed systems, Kafka, distributed data processing technologies (Flink/Spark/etc)
- Terraform or IAC tools
- Building and deploying applications on K8s
- Experience building streaming and/or batch data pipelines and ETL
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and scale the Data Platform team’s services and APIs
- Build batch and streaming data pipelines
- Act as tech lead for individual projects: write design docs, scope tasks, and delegate to other engineers
- Maintain and enhance Postscript’s third-party integrations
- Contribute to team planning and process improvement
