Requirements
- 7+ years of back-end development experience, with deep expertise with Typescript/Python.
- Experience leading technical initiatives and shipping scalable, high-performance systems to support web and mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of modern back-end tooling. (ESLint, CI/CD pipelines)
- Fluent in bash scripting and linux/unix commands
- Expertise with AI code generation tools
- Bonus: Experience with WebSockets, real-time data, compiled code languages, or healthcare-related applications.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development, optimization and expansion of our core backend services. (Typescript/Python)
- Drive best practices in performance, security, and scalability as we scale rapidly over the next 6/12 months.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Frontend teams to deliver seamless, intuitive user experiences.
- Own key architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and elevating back-end excellence across the company.
- Build out data-driven services and systems to bolster the customer experience.
- Influence engineering culture, fostering innovation and technical ownership within the team.
- Take advantage of developments in artificial intelligence to bring innovative and exciting new features to our customers.

- The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $250,000 to $300,000, in addition to equity and benefits.
