The company is looking to expand its Engineering team in Portugal with highly talented and driven software engineers to deliver working code that solves real problems for both internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Technical expertise with Java or Kotlin with Springboot.
- Ideally experience with relational databases.
- Experience with React on the frontend.
- Experience with Kotlin microservices with Postgres on the backend.
- Experience with CircleCI and Spinnaker for CI/CD.
Responsibilities
- Design solutions to business problems, contributing to an architectural vision that will scale up to be the world's leading research platform.
- Ship working code using React on the frontend and Kotlin microservices with Postgres on the backend.
- Deploy and iterate using CircleCI and Spinnaker for CI/CD, and quickly gather feedback in order to inform the next iteration.
- Build competency by learning quickly by building market-leading technology with experienced colleagues in a high performance environment.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of services, catching errors before users notice them, diagnosing the root cause and deploying fixes.

- A degree in a STEM subject.
- Experience working at a similar level in a mature Engineering team.
- Proven track record of making a demonstrable impact in previous roles.
- Highly driven and proactive with an obsessive attention to detail.
- Current resident of Portugal.
