ClickUp is seeking talented engineers to help build their flagship product, Tasks. The team owns the APIs that form the backbone of ClickUp, and they need engineers to maintain, develop, and scale high-throughput services as the company grows rapidly.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience engineering performant and high-throughput systems (ideally on Node.js).
- You write high quality code (ideally in TypeScript) and are uniquely productive.
- You have a track record of building performant, high-throughput systems.
- You have experience writing and debugging sql queries at scale.
- You have experience developing event based systems.
- You have experience with major cloud services (ideally AWS).
Responsibilities
- Build features and systems with attention to detail and performance.
- Own end-to-end development, from conception to production.
- Identify and implement improvements to our existing systems.
- Work on everything from creating new features (like enhancing task relationships and enabling deeper customization) to addressing performance challenges and ensuring operational excellence.
- Architecting reliable, high-performance distributed systems.
- Debugging and working with complex code.
- Maintaining a platform that powers the apps core functionality.
