Thyme Care is looking to transform the cancer care experience by building a technology-driven and provider-centric care delivery model, and they need a Senior Backend Engineer to help develop their proprietary internal care management platform.

Requirements

  • Experience deploying software engineering best practices, such as unit tests, code reviews, and design documentation.
  • Experience building and deploying web applications from the ground up.
  • Ability to deploy and operate services in a Cloud environment with ease and a good fundamental understanding of networking.
  • Experience with Python (FastAPI), Postgres, and AWS, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with user interface design.
  • Experience working in the Healthcare ecosystem is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Make key improvements to our intuitive, available, accurate, and secure web applications and all underlying infrastructure.
  • Own and lead the release of multiple critical features.
  • Work closely with oncology leaders to help them solve quickly evolving business problems through creative, elegant technical solutions.
  • Play a key role in building the technology that enables our oncology care team to surface ancillary benefit programs and services more efficiently.
  • Help create an intuitive user interface that allows our care team to triage patient touch points, from hospitalizations to changes in chemotherapy.
  • Surface data from multiple sources, including user inputs, to keep the care team as up-to-date as possible on their patients.
