Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience developing production software, with a focus on backend systems.
- Passion for building, operating, and debugging distributed systems at scale. Boundless curiosity, autonomy, and a strong sense of accountability.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture and hands-on experience with relevant technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and a passion for building and debugging large-scale distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices that are robust, scalable, and efficient to support our payment and financial products.
- Spend at least 60% of your time hands-on coding, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance the performance of our distributed systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to deploy and manage backend services on cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
Other
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
- Experience in the payments or fintech industry is a plus.
- Experience with Node.js is a plus.
- Flexible Hybrid Work: We collaborate in office at least three days a week to stay connected and aligned as a team.
