Citi is seeking a Senior Big Data Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of their global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) application, aiming to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of AML processes through technological advancements.
Requirements
- Strong technical proficiency in Spark, Scala, and other related Big Data technologies.
- Experience with Abinitio, Talend, and Oracle is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their potential applications in AML.
Responsibilities
- Lead a global team of developers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying the AML application.
- Provide deep technical expertise in Spark, Scala, and other Big Data technologies.
- Mentor and guide global teams on technical frameworks and best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies, including AI/ML, and explore their potential applications in AML.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of technical frameworks for AML application development.
- Ensure optimal performance and scalability of the AML application.
- Identify and resolve complex technical challenges related to AML application development.
